New units are referred to as ‘one-trip’ as it’s vastly cheaper to get containers from their location of manufacture to the UK in ‘active use’ than it is as empty units.

 Some units are also equipped with standard doors so they can be accessed in the usual way.

Certain door-fitted units will also have a removable header bar above the doors, allowing forklift truck access along the full length of the unit.
